Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Former Colorado Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg will begin practicing with the team on Saturday. Forsberg, who hasn't played in the NHL since the 2007-08 season, is considering a possible comeback. "I need to see where I am physically and practicing with NHL players is the best way to find that out," said Forsberg. Over 706 career NHL games, he scored 249 goals with 636 assists and was also a member of the Avalanche's 1996 and 2001 Stanley Cup championship teams.
